Kanye West to Launch New Travel Program

Kanye West has once again expanded his diverse portfolio of business ventures. The rap star is set to launch Kanye Travel Ventures (KTV) via his holding company West Brands, LLC. According to a recent press release, KTV is "a travel program specifically geared to serve the business and leisure travel demands of Kanye's world-wide fan base."

The program will eventually offer customizable trips with options to purchase concert tickets and show-related merchandise while booking travel reservations. In the meantime customers can reserve plane tickets, car rentals and hotel rooms on the KTV Website.
Similar celebrity-branded programs have been attempted in the past, with little success. Travel industry consultant Neil Abrams, however, thinks the "Good Life" entertainer's model has a good chance of survival.
"[KTV] has been designed with Kanye and his executive team, and his energy and resources have been devoted to this innovative product offering," Abrams said. "By securing industry expertise, partnering with global reservations systems, and negotiating high-volume discounts with air, lodging and ground transportation suppliers at varied price points, West Brands has assured that the KTV travel experience will reflect Kanye's style and approach to living."
